Harish happened upon soapmaking in 1999 when two foreigners showed him that soap could be more than just a ready made red bar. Using only natural ingredients, he has curated an impressive line of handmade body soaps, laundry soaps, hair powders and essential oils. His brand Natura is eco friendly and Harish has sailed through storms to ensure that their packaging does not harm the planet. After experimenting with natural alternatives like banana leaves, Harish has settled on wax paper to package his soaps, which are both vegan and biodegradable.

But it doesn't end there. All his soaps are made of 90% edible ingredients and are handcrafted by the local artisans of the Auroville community. In a world where people prefer convenience over consideration, Harish has proved that it is possible to keep the planet in mind when doing any task, even if it takes a little more time and effort.
