To Be Two

Using traditional hand painting techniques from Europe To Be Two is an amalgamation of French and Tamil artistries. They are the true pioneers of upcycling. Be it preserving an age old tradition of hand painting or using sustainable and natural materials to make their clothes, their work revolves around the idea of conservation. Using sustainable materials like linen, they ensure that each piece made affects the planet minimally.

However, it doesn’t just end with an intent to be eco-friendly. To Be Two engenders a holistic approach in all their work. They aspire to create something that is organic in its production, labour and design. Starting from the quality of their pieces to supporting the women who work for them, they leave no stone unturned. And now, what started in a hut in the 80s, has become a full fledged community of fashion enthusiasts and conscious consumers who follow a brand that is inclusive and nurturing but most of all unconventional in all the right ways.

To be Two was founded by the Late Adelina Intanno. Since 2015 Anyuta has been heading the brand.
