Having discovered its benefits a few years ago, the sisters have amassed a following of people who truly believe in the powers of hemp for nutrition and wellness. Hemp is not just any food, it’s a superfood! Rich in fibre, omega-3 fats and protein, it was a no brainer for them to include it as their main ingredient. They have an expansive list of products ranging from hemp protein powder to hemp trail mix and more, but the journey hasn’t been easy. The sisters are trying to make hemp a household staple and demystify the myths surrounding it. Ridden with controversies, even advertising hemp products on several media platforms have been a challenge. With baby steps however, they are slowly making progress, even making a giant leap by appearing on an episode of Shark Tank India. For Jayanti and Shalini, having swum against currents to get to where they are, nothing makes them prouder. India Hemp and Co’s honest packaging and clean food has paved the way for other businesses to follow suit and join them in their path to make healthy living accessible to all.
