No one knows the importance of high quality and natural ingredients more than Antonello and Helena. With a variety of freshly baked pizzas and handmade pasta, their restaurant Gastronomica, satiates the Indian palate with its authentic Italian flavours. A fortuitous trip to India, 23 years ago shaped what became most of Antonello’s entrepreneurial journey. The lack of readily available pasta and fresh pizza dough back then meant he would create his own little Italy in the small town of Auroville. Little did he know, this very country would become a home, where he would meet his wife, start his dream business and fulfil essentially the paradigm dream of a man whose passion is food. Now, both Antonello and Helena run their own business, make their own pasta and soak up their own happiness from the satisfied smiles of their customers, who will not expect anything less than the best from the couple. Gastronomica to this day, serves happiness and fresh food on their plate because when it comes to Antonello’s and Helena’s food, quality comes before anything else.
