Kavitha Alani took to embroidery at a time when she was merely looking for “something to do”. She soon realised her untamed passion and found different ways to nurture it. Kavita bears the true spirit of sisterhood with her attempt to train young girls to stitch and eventually providing them with jobs at her business. She helped build a community of skilled young girls who now have different avenues to find work and support themselves.
