Lakshmi KV
Lakshmi KV is a contemporary Indian ceramic artist whose work emerges from a deep love of shaping earth into form. Trained at the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, where she studied Ceramic and Glass Design, Lakshmi has spent over a decade dedicated to pushing the expressive possibilities of clay — balancing function with narrative and quiet beauty.
Her artistic journey began with a fascination for material and process. After graduating from NID, Lakshmi worked briefly with an established pottery studio in Thrissur before embarking on her own creative path. In 2019, she founded Keli Pottery, a studio-brand that encapsulates her ethos of simple, thoughtful forms shaped with care and curiosity. 
Keli Pottery is more than a maker’s studio — it is a creative space where Lakshmi both produces her work and engages with others through teaching. The studio offers pottery workshops and classes, inviting makers of all levels to explore clay through hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques. This educational facet reflects Lakshmi’s belief in clay as a medium that fosters patience, presence, and personal connection.
