Maroma's Iconic art candles are sculptures with a purpose and utility, as sources of light. Their striking designs add character and presence to any living area, and when lit, they become functional works of art. The flame of a candle is symbolic and represents an aspiration, prayer, or conscious will, attracting all things that are positive and good. The story behind the evolution of Maroma's Iconic artistic candles is quite interesting and unique. When candles are poured into molds, there is wax overflow and at times candles are rejected due to imperfections both of which leave some leftover wax which is collected and stored in metal buckets. Paul Pinthon, the founding CEO of Maroma, became inspired by the various colors of stored wax and started to bring new life to this wax by creating unique candle forms. These creative wax candle sculptures should be lit to cast their own unique radiance! Some of these art candles were also created by combining two very different materials together: wax and metal. To attach large pieces of wax together and form sculptures hmetal nuts, bolts and screws were used. In this exquisite iconic candle, Multilayered recycled wax forms a terranium design candle which will burn for more than 1000 Hours approximately.
