Mudalithara, a small village in Thenari, Palakkad, has been home to a community of handloom weavers for over 500 years. This tight-knit community consists of around 300 households, once solely dedicated to the craft of producing cotton fabric using handlooms. Much has changed in the course of these generations of weavers - from production techniques to changing customer tastes and market uncertainties.

Today together with the few of the households here who still continue with their vocation we have created one of a kind custom embellished and handwoven bath towels. Each towel is meticulously crafted by hand, using traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations of skilled artisans. The result is a beautiful and unique towel that is sure to make each bath a pampering retreat.
